MazeEngineers offers an olfaction system which vaporizes liquid odor using ultrasonic nebulizer technology. The olfaction system can be used as a modular standalone item to place into cages, enclosures, and mazes, or it can be integrated into automated mazes such as the automated T or Y mazes, operant conditioning, and other systems as a nose poke or lever module.

▪ Scents delivery speed adjustable range 0.08-0.48 ml per minute
▪ User provides odor liquid
▪ (Optional) A vacuum for the removal of the scent in the nose-poke holes.
2. Control box
▪ An electronic control box is required to control the Olfactory Delivery Module
3. Software
▪ The olfactory delivery is controlled by a small software from PC via a USB cable
▪ The software provides a UI application for users to configure the parameter of speed and
duration and buttons to start /stop the delivery
▪ A simple communication API is available if user chooses to write their own software to
control the delivery or integrate the olfactory delivery model
