This week the official documents were signed and Maze Engineers is proud to have a new partner: Noldus.

We’ve quickly grown since being founded in 2012 with a reputation for high quality, individually created, high performance behavioral science equipment. Combined with Noldus’ premiere video tracking software EthoVision XT, this opens up great opportunities for neuroscientists. EthoVision provides the canvas for creating any sort of highly customized maze for highly automated behavioral science experiments.

Noldus Information Technology develops and delivers innovative software and hardware solutions and services for the measurement and analysis of behavior to empower scientists worldwide to advance their research, develop products, train and educate. Noldus has offices across Europe, North America, and China and is represented by a worldwide network of distributors.

We seek to create scientifically rigorous pre-clinical technologies with a specialization in Behavioral Science. All of our products are individually researched for each protocol and made exactly from literature specifications. When combined with Noldus products,  we believe it creates exacting and precise experimental apparatuses for scientists. We believe Noldus products are the top of the line products, and our high quality, individually made mazes and automatons allow for efficient physiological innovations for the  animal stage of bench to bedside therapeutics.

EthoVision XT has been on the market for over twenty years and is validated in thousands of peer-reviewed publications. Its core function is to track rodents via 3 body points as it performs its task in the maze. From these coordinates, a wealth of behavioral, location-based parameters can be calculated. In addition, EthoVision XT is able to integrate other signals and control hardware equipment for sophisticated test protocols.

Maze Engineers mazes are constructed from high quality materials and with established scientific protocols in mind, factors such as odor cues and other distractions are eliminated, and many have practical design features such as rotatable top and goal box in the Barnes maze and a modifiable radial arm maze. Scientific experts review all construction to ensure rigorous standards for data collection.
