  • The apparatus consists of shuttle box (30 x 60 x 30 cm) composed of plexiglass equipped with a loose-fitting lid.
  • One compartment is white, the other is black. The floors of the compartments are textured white and smooth black, respectively.
  • For test sessions, a partition which separated the two compartments was raised 12 cm above the floor and a 5 x 2 cm steel mesh platform was inserted along the seam separating the compartments.
