  • 40 × 28 × 11cm bipartite wooden nest box connected to Perspex corridor (25cm length; 3.5 × 3.5cm in cross-section),
  • (1) flight arena (60 × 43 × 25cm) where bees are trained and tested
  • Four plastic sliding doors located along the corridor that allow controlled access to the arena

  • Full platform 1 : Blue circular plastic platform (Ø=7 cm) with a hole (Ø=9 mm) at the center, with a painted yellow circle encompassing the center
  • Small encatchment underneath the platform center

(1) Full walled platform
  • One blue circular plastic platform (Ø=14 cm) with a hole (Ø=9 mm) at the center, with a painted yellow circle encompassing it (1.9 cm in diameter)
  • Three lanes (with 5 mm high plastic walls)
  • lanes converge into the centre at angles of 120o between
