Requirements
Minimum Criteria: Be currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies in a neuroscience related field.
Requirement: Submit a 1000-2000 word essay on neuroscience and behavior and your ideas for how behavioral health can be improved in science.
Deadline: Submissions should be sent before July 1st, 2020
Essay Prompts
- How does behavioral neuroscience affect you?
- How can behavioral neuroscience be used to make the world a better place? For example, “nudging” is a term used in behavioral economics to describe subtle modifications in people’s behaviors for good.
- How can behavioral neuroscience be used to find new drugs and therapies?
- What are the biggest issues facing neuroscience and how can behavior affect these challenges? Some examples might be concussion, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, alzheimers and other neurodegenerative diseases.
